Today, 20th December 2020, Atikulist Youth Foundation & Support Groups in Kano gave former Vice President of Nigeria and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 Presidential election, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, an award of selfless service to humanity.
The former Vice President was represented at the occasion by Amb. Aliyu Bin Abbas, his Special Assistant on Youth & Support Groups.
In presenting the award to the former Vice President, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, the DG of the group noted the good works of His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, especially in the area of human empowerment and employment. Very specially, the group appealed to the former Vice President to run for the Office of President in 2023, this is as the leader of the group stressed that it has the structure to deliver for the former Vice President if he considers to run for the Office of President in 2023.
According to the leader of the group, the group has discussed critically as to who can deliver the country at a time like this and the only person they find worthy is His Excellency Atiku Abubakar.
The leader of the group stressed that the country faces a very challenging time now like never before in its 60 years of independence and to them, nobody else has the know-how to bring the fortune of the country out of the woods and return it to the path to prosperity and glory, aside former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the Waziri Adamawa himself.
Receiving the award on behalf of his boss, Amb. Aliyu thanked the group for the recognition and reiterated Atiku’s commitment to get Nigeria working again someday if given the chance to lead the country.
