Abbas inaugurates Borno ACF Chapter …Tasks executive, members on impacts to communities


 

The Director-General of the Atiku Care Foundation, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas on Friday inaugurated the Borno State chapter of the humanitarian organisation in Maiduguri, the state capital.

The ACF leader charged the newly installed state executive and members to renew commitment to the mandate and vision of the organisation towards impacting positively on the lives of the vulnerable citizens dwelling among them.

“This is a laudable cause. It affords each and everyone that opportunity to add values to others and lift fellow compatriots out of the abyss of poverty and hopelessness.

“I charge you all as executive and members to stand together and genuinely united towards realising this all important humanitarian task,” Abbas urged.

Highlights of the event included condolences message from the Grand Patron of the Atiku Care Foundation, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to the people of Zabarmari and Borno State Government over recent callous killings of 78 rice farmers in the community.

Similarly, prayers were offered for the bereaved families for comfort, the Zabarmari community and Borno State for restoration of peace and security among the people.

Present at the occasion were the North East Director of the ACF, Hon. Ibrahim Ali Amsami; Comr. Ahmed Mohammed Antulma, the State Director; Baba Gana Bukar, Deputy Director; Ahmed Baba Dikwa, State Secretary among others.
