By joshua Kogi Environment Commissioner Celebrates Barr. Ladi Jatto OON, Hails Outstanding Synergy Between Ministry ACReSAL
The Kogi State Commissioner for Environment and Ecological Management, Engr. Joseph Oluwasegun, has felicitated with the State Project Coordinator of Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL), Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto, OON, on the occasion of her birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message released in Lokoja, Engr. Oluwasegun described Barr. Jatto as a dedicated public servant, a consummate professional and an outstanding achiever whose leadership has redefined environmental governance and climate resilience in Kogi State.
The Commissioner particularly commended Barr. Jatto for fostering a robust and seamless synergy between the Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management and the Kogi State ACReSAL Project, noting that the collaboration has accelerated land restoration, watershed management, erosion control and community livelihood initiatives across the state.
“Barr. Ladi Jatto OON has been outstanding in every sense. She has brought uncommon passion, technical depth and administrative discipline to the ACReSAL Project. Her open-door policy and spirit of collaboration have created a strong synergy between the Ministry and ACReSAL, and the results are visible in our restored landscapes, empowered communities and improved climate resilience,” Engr. Oluwasegun stated.
He noted that under her coordination, Kogi ACReSAL has been rated among the top performing states in the country, a testament to her capacity to blend global best practices with local realities.
The Commissioner, on behalf of the management and staff of the Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management, prayed for long life, good health and greater wisdom for the celebrant, and wished her a joyous birthday celebration filled with happiness and fulfilment.
He further described her as a pride to Kogi State and a shining example of women in leadership.
