Ododo’s planned new 50 Secondary Schools – a foundation for Kogi modern devt.

Johann Wolfgang Von Geotte is a German literary icon. He wrote many books in his local language all in a bid to educate his people on the need to be knowledgeable for self actualization.
Geothe died many decades ago but his great work has continued to add value to the development of Germany. This is so as valuable knowledge is the bedrock of development in every nation.
In Kogi State today it is safe to say a Goethe is on the saddle as the Chief Servant, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has continued to empower the educational sector of the state for modern development. Since assumption of office on January 27, 2024, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has continued to give priority attention to the education sector in his Advanced New Direction Administration.
Governor Ododo’s Midas touch in the education sector is today been felt by the citizens of the state. The Governor strongly believes if the state is to move on the fast lane of progress and modern development, education is key. He has therefore deliberately kept investing in education to match with the vision of his administration for the current and future development of Kogi State.
His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has for long align with Johnn Von Geotte who strongly noted that “What you cannot understand, you cannot possess.” The governor believes a knowledgeable state will have a good understanding of modern development and hence his deliberate huge investment in the education sector of the state.
It is on record that Governor Ododo’s zeal for the development of the state has led him to pay over six hundred million naira West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) fee for all the final year students in public schools in the state. He has also paid the Junior WAEC fees for students in secondary schools in the state. Whats more, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has also been paying scholarship to indigent Kogi State Students in tertiary institutions across the country.
His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo strongly believes education is the bedrock of development across the globe. He has therefore been investing much in promoting education in the state.
Only few weeks ago, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo announced the plan of his administration to renovate over seven hundred schools in the state with a view to also equip them with modern technology facilities and computers. With this great vision of the governor in the state it is clear that the governor has a clear direction on the development of the state.
It is also interesting to note that His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has recently announced his plan to build over fifty new secondary schools to provide skills for over twenty thousand adolescent girls in the state. The governor’s administration’s vision is to continue to provide an all round education platform for all the indigenes of the state irrespective of their gender.
As an accountant by profession, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo deeply understands accountability in governance. He is daily doing his best in ensuring that Kogi State leads in development through solid education innovation.
In just one year and three months, the governor has provided a positive web in the education sector in the state. There is no doubt that his positive actions in the education sector would yield positive dividends in the development of the state within the shortest possible period.
There is no doubt that His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo like the astute German Johann Von Geotte has come on stage to make a difference in the current educational development of the state which in the long run will be the solid pillar for modern development of Kogi State.
As His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is daily exerting his energy in building a solid state, the electorates of the state owe it a duty to continue to give good support to the Advanced New Direction Administration of the All Progressives Congress – APC led-administration in the state
