Engr. Bashiru Gegu today described Former Governor Yahaya Bello as a “star boy,” saying his Abuja residence has become a political Mecca and Jerusalem for office seekers across Kogi State.
In a viral video, Gegu observed that aspirants have been trooping in to seek Bello’s blessings ahead of the APC primary, noting that the former governor now holds the ace within the party.
“When it was said that the former Governor holds the ace in APC, many didn’t want to believe it,” Gegu said. “But my prophecy has come to pass.”
The remarks have added to the growing conversations around Bello’s influence as political alignments take shape ahead of the 2026 elections.
