Member representing Lokoja/ kogi federal constituency Hon Barr Shaba Ibrahim in his commitments to provide water to the people of felele community in oworo ward, undertook the sinking of motorised borehole in the area which for decades hits by perennial water scarcity.
Hon Shaba made the declaration in felele lokoja local government that the on going felele water project is the tenth to be sunk in the constituents which felele are benefiting from the water program.
The member representing Lokoja/ kogi federal constituency who was on site due represented by his senior legislative aid Hon Yunusa Yakubu Chado to supervised the groundbreaking ceremony explained that the provision of to felele and it environs with a borehole has become necessary in view of the hardship been faced by the people:” when you take a look at the situation of our people the care of this area is completely deferent, despite their proximity to other areas they couldn’t access water, that’s why Hon Shaba decided to sink a borehole to cushion the effect of perennial water scarcity faced by the community,” he said.
The People Democratic Party PDP chairman in the ward Hon Abdulrazaq Muhammed,. Expressed his profound gratitude to Hon Shaba Ibrahim pointing out that; ” honestly am impressed by the performance of our Reps member, within a short time i make bold to say that felele been the centre of democracy benefited More from Shaba developmental initiative: last time it was laptop, now borehole, we thank you” he said.
Speaking through his aid the community leader of felele, commended Hon Barr Shaba for coming to the rescue of the people of his domain. The royal farther who was represented by one of his aid said as a young man with vision and prayed Allah to protect and guide him as he steers his constituents affairs to a greater height.
The chairman of civilian joint task force, CJTF, in the area, while speaking at the project site, assured the the house of Reps member that the project would received the maximum protection from his members, “let me assure you next level sir, that we’ll do everything possible to jealously protect this project from Vandals”
The House of Reps member who was represented by his legislative aid Hon Yunusa Yakubu Chado was received by PDP stalwarts from the ward and was accompanied by some party supporters and a host of water engineers.
