Okene Chairman Elect Pays Courtesy Visit To Alh. Jibril Momoh


 

Moments after he was declared the winner of the Local Government election in Okene, the Council Chairman elect, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad on Saturday paid a courtesy visit to the State Accountant-General, Alh. Jibril Momoh at his residence in Okene. The newly elected Executive Chairman of Okene Local Government was warmly received by the cheering crowd before finally meeting with the political leader.

Alh. Jibril Momoh congratulates the elected chairman of the council for the victory at the poll and all elected eleven wards councilors who accompanied him on the courtesy visit.

The state accounting officer who was at his country home in Okene for the local government election described the exercise as most peaceful in the history of local government election in the area.

Alh. Jibril and his visitors later had a closed door meeting before leaving for Lokoja the state capital.
