The Senator Elect,
Kogi Central Senatorial District, Engr Abubakar Ohere has joined in felicitating with the Kogi State Coordinator, Barr. Ladi Jatto, Kogi State Coordinator, Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscape (ACReSAL) project on her conferment with the national honour of the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) by President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a statement issued to Newsmen, Engr. Abubakar Ohere commended Barr Ladi for the laudable feat she achieved leading to her recognition by President Mohammadu Buhari.
The Senator Elect described Barr. Ladi as an asset to the State, expressed appreciation with her landmark achievements working tirelessly to the sustainability of the environment.
While expressing optimism that the National Award will further encourage Barr. Ladi to do more in the year’s ahead, Engr. Ohere described Barr. Ladi as a worthy Ambassador of the State, said she has placed Kogi State on the global map of women who have made indelible marks on the sands of time.
Engr. Ohere expressed gratitude to President Mohammadu Buhari and Gov. Yahaya Bello for finding Barr. Ladi worthy of the iconic honour, Congratulated her on the recognition, described the honour as well deserved and the beginning of many more to come.
