Of all the hardships a person had to face, none was more punishing than the simple act of waiting. For the past 8yrs and in anticipation, Nigerians waited for the real change they voted without a sigh.
Whereas during these years of maladministration, time had never gone quickly enough for our liking and Nigerians were wanting to speed its flight. Now that we are in sight of the new Nigeria we would have liked to slow it down and hold each moment in suspense for the sensation, confusion perhaps, but none the less poignant for that of all those days, weeks and months of life-made-hard for Nigerians which made them vaguely felt, that whoever survived this hardship deserves to be honored with *’Certificate of Survival’* to at least commensurate or compensate the untold hardship meted to them by the Buhari’s administration.
To me, that sanguine expectation of happiness Nigerians had on Muhammadu Buhari for the past 8yrs is the prayer answered in emergence of Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu but I pray again, that this present hour of joy should run at half the speed of those long hours of waiting. I pray, that God shall strengthen Tinubu spiritually to live above those cabals-the saboteurs so as to meet the expectation of Nigerians.
I am optimistic nonetheless, that Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu will bring the positive change we envisaged because of his past demonstrated administrative antecedents.
If Tinubu takes over by two in the afternoon today, Nigerians will begin to be happy by three..I assured you!
