joshuaKogi NYCN Passes Vote of Confidence On Gov. Ododo, Appreciates Youths Commissioner.
The Kogi State Chapter, National Youth Council of Nigeria, has passed a vote of confidence on the administration of Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo
The vote of confidence was equally passed on the Commissioner For Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Adejoh Anyebe with a letter of appreciation for all his efforts in actualizing the vision of Gov Ododo for the Youths of the State.
The decision was passed unanimously by the management at a well attended meeting held at the Youth House.
The Council commended Gov. Ododo for the enabling environment he created for youths of the State to actualize their potentials, appreciated him for several appointments and support for the council.
The meeting was presided over by the State Chairman, NYCN, Comr. Ben Jerry, also deliberated on forthcoming Local Government for some council, excluding Ajaokuta, Yagba West, and Lokoja, which have already conducted their elections with the release of guidelines.
The meeting emphasize the use of Council Constitution and Kogi Council Bylaws adding that all election processes must adhere to these documents.
Highlights of the meeting was the:
• Establishment of Committees:
1. Central Working Committee (CWC): Comprising Comrades Nihi, SB, Farouk, Bala, and the Chairman.
2. Zonal Committees: To manage pre-election activities. Membership includes Zonal Chairmen (as Secretaries), an experienced stakeholder (as Chairman), State Excos, and grassroots leaders among other very important issues.
