joshuaNAS Feeds 450 Vulnerable Children In Edo

The National Association of Seadogs (NAS), popularly known as pyrates confraternity on Saturday offer free feeding to no fewer than 450 vulnerable children in Jattu, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo.
The event, tagged: “Feeding of 450 Street Kids a Day” is organized by the Hybrid Deck (Edo North Chapter) in partnership with Atlantis Deck (Atlanta Georgia Chapter USA).
Speaking at the event,the Capoon, Hybrid Deck Edo North Chapter, Mr Christopher Ikponwonsa, said the organisation would provide three square meal to the children.
Ikponwonsa said the idea is to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged in the society, especially the children.
He added that the decision is in furtherance of the organisation humanitarian service.
“We are offering the children breakfast, lunch and dinner.
“The feeding of the kids and other less privileged persons in the society is to show that NAS as an organisation cares for them,” Ikponwonsa said.
The NAS Hybrid Deck Capoon however urged members of the public to always stretch a hand of support to persons in need within the society.
Also, the Project Officer, NAS Hybrid Deck, Dr Idris Haruna said the free feeding programme is to cushion the effect of hardship and hunger in the land.
“This is in response to the hunger and acute food shortage.
“As an humanitarian body Hybrid Deck in partnership with Atlantis Deck initiated this free food programme to mitigate the scorching and pervasive hunger in the land.
“This is one of the seadogs initiatives and programmes conceived and executed to fight hunger and alleviate abject poverty” Haruna said.
