The Peoples Democratic Party PDP, candidate in the last election, Engr Musa Wada has advise PDP to ponder the implications of going into the forthcoming local government election under Yahaya Bello leadership, knowing too well that the Govenor will manipulate the exercise .
Musa Wada speaking with his experience insisted that the Govenor can’t conduct any free end fair election , because himself was a product of manipulation and election malpractices,
The candidate commends the party decision to participate in the processes but warned against legitimize Bello’s fraud as culture of writing figures and there by creating a bad precedent, that once they participate they should be ready to accept the outcome .
He says any attempt to drag PDP into the planned mass rigging by the APC led administration, will affect it’s image on the long run in Kogi state and before the international community.
According to Engineer Musa Wada,the worst has happened in November last year Governorship election,let’s not allow the repeat of the very worst in the forthcoming Local Government election,were all apparatuses of government are already playing to the gallery.
Engineer Wada says from the composition to the program leading to the Local Government election,it is a known fact that similar efforts will be adopted towards the outcome of the election, as it will be herald with lawlessness and abuse of due process.
He passed a vote of no confidence on kogi state independent electoral Commission KOSIEC, while saying the members are playing to the ostrich, to produce elected representatives at the Local Government levels.
‘How can a Party that lacks internal democracy,bit wanton imposition of candidates will be expected to play a role of an unbiased umpire in the Local Government election.’
‘I challenge the state government under APC to provide an enabling environment and level playing ground,no local government will vote for the ruling party in the state’
