Kogi Govt. Host South Africa, Ghana Solid Minerals Investors, Assures of Security to Lives, Investment


 

The Kogi State Government has through the Ministry of Solid Minerals and Natural Resources began a meeting with Solid Minerals investors from South Africa and Ghana today.

 

The meeting was held at Abuja with the Investors was held in Abuja, is for the stablishment of mining explosives, minerals processing centres and lapidiary top discussion.

The Chief of Staff to Kogi State Government, Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku led the team from Kogi State with the Solid Minerals Development Commissioner in attendance.

Also at the meeting was the Nigerian Partners of the Foreign Companies, Otumba Engr Babatunde Alatise, MD Tuntise Investments Ltd.

The Kogi State Government team had Pharm Abdulkarim Muhammed Jamiu Asuku, COS to Governor Yahaya Bello, Engr Abubakar Bashir Muhammed Honorable Commissioner Solid Minerals and Natural resources, Engr Muhammed Omeiza Lawal, MD Kogi State Solid Minerals Processing Company Ltd (KGSMPCL), Engr M.A Yusuf Senior Special Assistant to Governor on Mineral resources.

The Kogi State Government reiterated its commitment to developing the solid Minerals sector, assuring the Investors that the state is safe for investment.

 

Speaking after the meeting, Engr Bashiru Gegu, says the enabling environment created by the present administration is reasons for the flooding of Investors to the state, described Kogi State as the safest in the country.

The list of foreign Investors include:

1. Mr John Deyzel, Business manager AECI mining explosives
2. W.A Krofah, managing director WILEB mining supplies Ltd
