Kogi Education Commissioner Assures COSHDERI Polytechnic Abocho of Govt. Support … Lauds Gov. Bello’s Educational policies as sustainable.


 

The Honorable commissioner for Education, Science and Technology Hon Wemi Jones, FCIB alongside the Commissioner For Rural Development, Hon Daniel Oneil Ejigbo are currently attending the 1st Convocation Ceremonies and award of National Diploma, presentation of awards and Prizes of COSHDERI Polytechnic Abocho, Kogi State.

The Polytechnic is an affiliate of Gboko Polytechnic, Gboko, Benue State) held today Saturday, 19th December, 2020.

The Polytechnic honoured the commissioner for Education for his efforts at repositioning the Educational Sector in the State through policies and programs that are qualitative.

Speaking at the occasion, Hon. Wemi Jones, the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, described the present administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello as one that has within a short space impacted positively on the Education Sector.

The Commissioner said the present administration is putting in place policies that are sustainable, described the Educational Law passed in the state as a step in the right direction.

He assured of the support of the administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello to assisting the COSHDERI Polytechnic Abocho, Kogi State, called on the graduating Students to strive to hold onto the ideals of the institution.

 

Highlights of the convocation ceremony was the presentation of award of excellent performance on the Education Commissioner and graduation of the first set of graduants of the Polytechnic.

Hon. Wemi Jones dedicated the award to Gov. Bello, says he’s kind are rare to come by, describing him as a man the country needs the more in 2023.
