Kogi Commissioner for Women Affairs, lauds Vice Chairpersons, Councillors on election victory, commends Gov. Bello


 

The Kogi State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Developement, Hon. Hajia Fatima Kabiru Buba has Congratulated all the Vice Chairpersons and Councillors who emerged victorious at the Weekend’s Local Government Council Election.

Similarly, Hajia Fatima expressed her appreciation to Gov. Yahaya Bello for the opportunities given to women to participate and be fully involved in the Politics of the State, described Gov. Yahaya Bello as the best the State has ever had when it comes to empowering women politically.

 

Hon. Hajia Fatima urged the women elected at the weekend to justify the confidence reposed in them by the Governor, assuring that the governor’s gesture to women in the state is unprecedented.

She assured with optimism that more goodies still await the women in the State, described Gov. Yahaya Bello as the man of the year for Kogi women, stating that his kind is hard to come by.

The Commissioner assured that Kogi Women are solidly behind the Governor’s call to seek a higher Office in 2023, pointing out that with what the Governor has done in the state, the women are encouraging him to seek a higher office to enable the Governor to do more for the country.

Hon. Hajia Fatima, described the weekend’s Local Government Election as peaceful, commended SIEC for a job well done and the security agencies for making the election Hitch free.
