The Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Ayuba Edeh, says the Command is battle ready against any June 12 protest in the State even though he says the Command is not anticipating any crisis.
Speaking with the Nigerianpost, CP Edeh says the Command as part of its routine embarked on a show of force, says it is a signal that the Command is ever ready, but is not envisaging any protest.
The Commissioner disclosed that it has engaged with student union Leadership and other critical stakeholders, says he is confidence that the peace that the state has enjoyed would be sustained.
He urged the people of the State to go about there businesses tommorow, urged them to be law abiding as the Command is ready to ensure peace and tranquility in the State.
