Happy Birthday to a Great leader and Builder of Modern Kogi State.
I, Engr. Abubakar Bashiru Gegu, wish to on behalf of my humble self and the entire family of late Imam Abubakar Umar Gegu, heartily rejoice with His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, CON, former Kogi State Governor and Builder of modern Kogi State on the auspicious occasion of his Birthday.
Your Excellency, birthdays comes only once in a year. For some of us that you have mentored and groomed, it offers us the opportunity to appreciate the Divine Grace of Allah upon your life for your outstanding repositioning of Kogi State for greatness and for making hitherto, children of nobody’s, somebody’s.
Under your leadership, we are proud to State that you made equity, fairness, sense of belongings the corner stone of your administration. Without mincing words, our dear State owing to your unprecedented leadership, now rates high amongst commity of States.
It is therefore with rejoicing with Your Excellency, that on this happy occasion of your birthday to thank God for how he used you in several positive ways in laying the solid foundation for a better Kogi State where the people are now more united in tongues and in brotherhood.
Your roles in the leadership of Kogi State was most impactful, providing the roadmap for the state’s accelerated development. Permit me to thank His Excellency for surpassing development and infrastructure records in the history of the Governance of the State since it creation.
Your Excellency, as your mark your special day, may posterity be kind to you. We pray for long life in good health for your Excellence and your family.
