… Hails Ododo’s early payment of June salaries

A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) and Special Adviser on Corporate Affairs to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State, Hon Fancy Jimoh Tiamiyu, has congratulated the governor and the entire Muslim faithful in the state, particularly the people of Lokoja Local Government Area on the celebration of the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir.

Hon. Tiamiyu, in a statement, enjoined the Muslim brethren and Nigerians to imbibe the teachings of the Holy Prophet by showing love, making sacrifices, embracing peace and shunning all negative tendencies that are capable of derailing the unity and oneness of the country.

Tiamiyu, a grassroots mobilizer who has been a Lokoja-based businessman, applauded Governor Ododo’s early payment of June salaries, which he said, paved the way for Muslim faithful in the state to celebrate with joy and happiness.

“I felicitate with our indefatigable and dependable governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the entire people of Kogi State, especially the residents of Lokoja Local Government Area, on this year’s occasion of the Eid-El-Kabir.

“It is important that our Muslim brothers and sisters, and indeed all Nigerians, emulate the virtues, character and lifestyle of the Holy Prophet by showing love to another, making sacrifices and allowing peace to reign supreme at all times,” Tiamiyu said.

He continued: “Governor Ododo made the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir joyous and delightful for Kogites with early payment of June salaries of workers and pensions of retirees, and the distribution of food palliatives to residents of the state. With this action of the governor, he has further demonstrated his commitment towards making the welfare of workers one of top priorities of his administration. He has portrayed himself as a caring and compassionate governor filled with the milk of human kindness, and determined to always put smiles on the faces of the people.

“Kogites must therefore continue to rally round the governor as it is obvious that he means well for state, considering all his efforts at delivering the dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of the people. There are early signs of better days ahead for our dear state under the able and dynamic watch of our performing governor. Let us join hands together with him to take Kogi to a higher level of growth and development.”
