Diocese of Lokoja Anglican Communion Invests Chief (Mrs) Damaris Tumbutu Agbogun As Year 2020 Profile Mother.


 

 

The Investiture of Chief (Mrs) Damaris Tumbutu Agbogun (JP), as the Profile Mother 2020 by the Diocese of Lokoja, Anglican Communion has been held with a call on mother’s to make the strengthening and preservention of marriage and Christian family life Paramount.

 

 

The Investiture took place at the Anglican Diocese in Felele along Agbaja road, with Most Rev’d Emmanuel Egbunu calling on mother’s to be faithful in service to God now more than ever before.

Nigerians from all works of life gathered at the Anglican Diocese in Felele along Agbaja road to honour Chief Mrs Damaris Tumbutu, a woman many described as a complete mother, whose life has been impactful.

He said the time for mother’s to be up to there responsibilities more than ever before is now, described a complete family and Christian home as the handiwork of a mother.

He urged mother’s to be a source of blessing in the home, urged them to through love be blessings to there husband and Children, described the Profile Mother as a woman who’s love for God remains unrivalled.

The Bishop of the Anglican Diocese urged mother’s to be concerned with all that strengthens and preserve marriage and Christian family life, lamented that that Godly and Spiritual responsibilities of mothers has been relegated.

In a remarks at the occasion, The Profile Mother, Chief Mrs Damaris Tumbutu Agbogun expressed appreciation for the recognition and honour done to her by the church.

Chief Mrs Damaris urged women to train up there Children in the way of the Lord, urged them to show love but to correct them when they go wrong.

Speaking, the Executive Director, Challenged Parenthood Initiatives, Eunice Agbogun, and Hon. El-Shettima Peter Agbogun, Kaigama of Lokoja, daughter and Son of Chief Mrs Damaris, pointed out that the recognition done to there mother was a honour well deserved, described there mother as a Super Woman and a Mother of Inestimable value.

 

The Children maintained that the honour did not come as a surprise, said there mother epitomizes love, philanthropism, and love for God and humanity, qualities that has stood her out over the years.
