The Kogi State Coordinator of the Center For Integrated Health Programs, Pharmacist BenBenard Akpa has been commended for his will power, resilience and commitment to the successful celebration of World Aids Day, 2020.
The Program Manager of Kogi State Agency for the control of Aids, Williams Shaibu, the State Coordinator of HIV and AIDS Prorams at the Ministry of Health Headquarters, Pharmacist Eric Akoji, the State Coordinator of the Network of People Living with Aids (NEPWHAN) Mallam Jimoh Audu and indeed the State Commissioner for Health, Saka Haruna, in their various remarks, expressed this feeling, today at a press conference,marking the event today during a press briefing at the Ministry of Health Headquarters.
Pharmacist Akpa said the time had come for every individual, referring to the over sixty attendees at the occasion to propel and propagate the message in form of committees to disseminate the message of theme of year,” United to end Aids in the midst of Covid 19′, Get Tested’.
It is quite interesting to state that CIHP , among other Implementing Partners, are responsibly sponsoring a ten days life broadcast on the State Radio Station, FM 94..1, disseminating information on HIV and AIDS.
