The public presentation and the launching of a book titled: ‘Taxation In The Upstream and Downstream Sectors of The Petroleum Industry’ will be launched on Thursday, April 8, 2021.
The public presentation and the book launch is expected to hold at the International Conference Centre ICC, Abuja.
The book written by a renowned author and writer, Mohammed Atojoko, current Head of Department, HOD, Tax Education and Enlightenment In Kogi State Internal Revenue Service KGIRS, Lokoja, Kogi State.
Dignitaries and invited guests are expected to be seated at 11:00am of that day, while attendance will be strictly be by invitation and in line with the protocols of COVID-19 provided by the organisers.
The new book critically looks at the activities/succeses of the upstream and downstream sector of the petroleum sectors relating to taxation, that had being the bane of Nigeria and world economies.
About the Author.
Mohammed Atojoko is an Accountant by profession, he currently work with the Kogi State Internal Revenue Service Headquarters Lokoja as the HOD Tax Education, he attended the University of Nigeria Nursery and Primary School Nssuka, Ayodele Nursery/Primary School Eleyele GRA Ibadan Oyo State, St. Joseph Primary School (RCM) Anyigba, Kogi State. He also attended the famous Ochaja Secondary School Ochaja, the federal polytechnic ldah and study Accounting, NYSC at Obubura Cross Rivers State, University of Ibadan (Lokoja Study Centre) for a Diploma program in Computer Science.
First set of Post Graduate Studies at the Kogi State University Anyigba, Nasarawa State University Keffi for Masters in Finance , National Open University of Nigeria and currently pursuing a PhD programme, He has worked with Integrated Data Service Limited IDSL a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation NNPC at Oko Benin City Edo State, Also worked with KSTC Lokoja.
He is the state coordinator Nigerian Institute of management NIM, Member Association of Nigerian Authors, Member Association of National Accountant of Nigeria, Member/Executive The chartered institute of Taxation of Nigeria, National Director of Membership service Federal Polytechnic Idah Alumni, A holder of the prestigeous CBE, Director General/CEO Ochaja Hall of Fame, he is also a holder of America Biographical Society list of Who is Who in the World, Commander Order of Igala Kingdom, he is by divine Kingship Omakojiata with the salutation Doga, he is widely traveled, he is an author of many books.
