Gov. Ododo’s Aide On South South Mobilization Takes APC Mobilization Drive to Akhuye Women, Says Inclusion of Southerners Unprecedented

As part of his continued drive to unite Southerners in Kogi State under a formidable umbrella and position them for massive votes for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections, the Special Adviser on South-South Mobilization and President of Southerners in Kogi State, Hon. Abu Micheal, has taken his advocacy visit to the Akhuye Association Madabo (APFA), Lokoja.

Hon. Micheal, who met with the leadership and members of the women group in Lokoja, said the visit was aimed at galvanizing grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

He noted that the Ododo administration has made history by giving Southerners a sense of belonging and recognition in governance for the first time since the creation of Kogi State, a gesture he said has rekindled confidence and strengthened the bond between residents and the government.

The Special Adviser stressed that the place of women in electoral victory cannot be overemphasized, urging members of the association to remain resolute, united and unwavering in their support for the APC.

According to him, women constitute the most reliable voting bloc and have remained the backbone of grassroots mobilization, hence the need for them to sustain their loyalty to the APC-led administrations at both federal and state levels.

“President Tinubu and Governor Ododo have demonstrated capacity, compassion and commitment to the welfare of all residents. The empowerment programmes, improved security and inclusive governance are direct impacts on women and families. That is why you must remain resolved and not be swayed,” Micheal charged.

He assured that the administration of Governor Ododo will continue to prioritize women inclusion, empowerment and recognition of non-indigenes as critical stakeholders in building a virile and united Kogi State.

In her remarks, the Chairperson of Akhuye Association Madabo (APFA), Lokoja, Hajia Isah Balkisu, assured of the unflinching support of the association to the APC-led administration.

Hajia Balkisu described President Tinubu and Governor Ododo as two leaders who have impacted their lives in many positive ways through people-oriented policies and inclusive governance.

She pledged that the women would work as foot soldiers across the nooks and crannies of Lokoja and beyond to ensure overwhelming victory for all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
