I wish to sincerely appreciate God Almighty for sparing my life till this moment, my indefatigable leader, His Excellency, Alh Yahaya Bello,
his deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, Kogi State Speaker, Rt Hon Matthew Kolawole and other members of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Minister of state for FCT, Hajia Rahmatu Tijjani Aliyu, Hon Commissioners, CSO, religious body and my beloved community for your show of love showered on me yesterday.
“I would have attempted to appreciate all of you individually but I am aware that by the limited nature of man’s mind, I must unwittingly omit one or two names. However, my sincerest gratitude goes out to each and everyone who reached out in love and good wishes for me yesterday through calls, messages, posts and souvenirs. I wish you all, in equal and great measures, the fulfillment of your own heart desires.”
I pledge not to renege on all those good qualities already ascribed to my person; rather, I will strive to improve on them.
