The Ohimege Igu Koton-Karfe, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Isah Koto, has conferred the title of Matawale of Idu Kingdom on Kogi Local Government Treasurer, Alhaji Abdullah Yusuf Ohikwura, (AYO).
The Conferment was held at the palace of the Ohimege Igu Koton-Karfe today, with a call on public servant to show high level of trust, says the need for public servants to build trust deficit is now a necessity.
The Royal Father pointed out that the recipient has proven over time to be trustworthy, said his records of transparency and diligence is reason for the honour.
Alhaji Abdulrazaq Isah Koto called on Nigerians to be accountable in the discharge of their duties, says the time to be prudent and transparent, so as to earn recognition is what the society’ needs now.
He commended the recipient, urged other public officers trusted with responsibilities to emulate the Sterling qualities of Alhaji Abdullah Yusuf Ohikwura.
Speaking on the honour, Alhaji Abdullah Yusuf Ohikwura expressed joy, assuring that transparency and accountability would remain Paramount in the discharge of his duties.
He described the Ohimege Igu Koton-Karfe Alhaji Abdulrazaq Isah Koto as a father who is truly a rallying point, promised to justify the confidence reposed on him.
