After 10 Years of Living in Darkness, Caretaker Chairman Ijumu Local Government Restores Electricity To local Government Secretariat, Iyara.
The Caretaker Chairman Ijumu LGA, Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna DSTV has restored electricity to the local government Secretariat. This is after the Secretariat have been in total darkness for Ten (10)years.
The Chairman said towards improved productivity and in creating the conducive atmosphere and to bolster economic activities in the local government, there was the need to restore light to the Secretariat.
Recalled that the Caretaker Chairman held a meeting with Management staff recently upon resumption promised to restore the light at the local government.

The staff of the local government who could not hide their joy, Applauded the Chairman for bringing his promise to fruition, said his early steps are indicative of a good ending.
Some staff at the local government described the Chairman’s gesture as salutary noting that Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna is a people’s Chairman and a promise keeper.
