The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Chief Dr. Edward Onoja applaud the Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa 1 constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed as a worthy son of Igala Kingdom, describes his consistency, commitment and loyalty to the progressive cause of Kogi State and to his Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello as a major catalyst that has taken him to enviable height politically.
Excerpt from the speech of The Deputy Governor who spoke at the conferment of the chieftaincy title below;
“Let this be on record that, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, the newly crowned Abeneche Ejeh Olamaboro is a worthy Son of Igala Kingdom. I am saying this because he has won the trust of our leader his Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello. He did not win that trust by pulling down anybody, he won it by remaining truthful, honest, steadfast and loyal. That is leadership. And once you have that with his Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, he will go anywhere with you.
From the very first day Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed knew his Excellency the Governor, he has remain loyal to his cause. Ankpa people, you can testify. Meanwhile we have others, who, the only way they can go up is to pull others down. That us highly un-Igala.
Because of your loyalty and steadfastness, our King the Ejeh Olamaboro have found you worthy of this title ABÉNECHÈ. In the Kogi State House of Assembly, you are the ABÉNECHÈ of the speaker, i the Deputy Governor is the ABÉNECHÈ of his Excellency the Governor. Today, you are crowned the ABÉNECHÈ of Ejeh Olamaboro. The same doggedness, steadfastness, courage and loyalty epitomize by you, use it in this new title and office.
