2027 Elections: Edo Needs People With Reputable Characters – NDC Chieftain

A Chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Barrister Mathew Edaghese, has said that Obi and Kwakwaso movement popularly called OK is very determined to chase out the Bola Ahmed Tinubu- led APC government from Aso Rock come 2027 general elections in Nigeria.
The human rights activist who is
also an aspirant for Esan South- East and Esan North- East Federal Constituency in the forthcoming National Assembly elections stated this why addressing a cross section of NDC supporters in Ubiaja in Edo central.
He highlighted his mission and vision for Esan South East and Esan North East Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives if given the mandate to serve them on what informed his decision to contest for the Federal House of Representatives under the NDC in Esan South East and Esan North East federal constituency.
“What informed my decision is self convinsion and popular demand by majority of the people who are clamouring for a different direction in terms of leadership. Representation has become a stigma over time, and their desire is to have effective representation in Abuja.”
“This can only be achieved when they deal with somebody with reputable character, somebody who have the pedigree, competent and capacity. Without sounding modest I possess those qualities. The records are there I’m not a sycophant I have never indulged in sycophancy in my life.”
On why vying under the platform of Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), he said:
“NDC has been existing, the newness in NDC is the coming of Obedient Movement and Obi Kwakwaso ticket is already assured. The OK movement is a group to belong, NDC will shocked Nigerians it is a moving train that nobody can stop. I want to use this veritable platform to represent the good people of Esan South East and Esan North East Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives in Abuja.”
“I didn’t just wake up one morning and say I went to contest for federal House of Representatives, it is the pressure from people. They need quality representatives the people there have failed us. They need a voice, they need good leadership, they need the dividend of democracy and the security and good life.
Esan South East and Esan North East Federal Constituency must take their destinies in their hands, this is not the time to trade with their future and that of their children. As it stands now, NDC is the party to beat, by the grace of God we would get there”.
