Karimi Urges Kogi West APC Members to Protect Healing Process, Uphold Unity

The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Sen. Sunday Karimi, has called on party members and stakeholders to avoid remarks that could undermine the ongoing reconciliation and peace-building process within the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State.

Sen. Karimi said the APC in the state has made meaningful progress in healing past divisions and stressed the need to protect that momentum through constructive dialogue and mutual respect.

He described the APC in Kogi State as one united family, with Kogi West remaining a strong base for the party. He commended the leadership and members for their commitment to strengthening the party and consolidating on previous gains.

The Senator expressed appreciation to all individuals who have contributed to the growth of the APC in the state, noting that their dedication reflects a genuine desire to see the party succeed.

“I want to use this opportunity to appeal to all our citizens and party members not to engage in any action or statement that could distract from the healing process,” Karimi said.

“We are committed to working together to make the APC stronger and more inclusive. I urge everyone to uphold the spirit of peace and unity. I will not associate with remarks that seek to sow division, and I encourage us all to focus on building a party that works for everyone.”

He encouraged APC members to set aside differences, remain united, and work collectively towards delivering the party’s goals in future elections.

“I will not associate nor support any remarks that threaten the healing process. There is no alternative to peace”, urge for a united and progressive discuss that will make everyone one APC big family in the West and Kogi State in general.
