Bello’s Homecoming Shuts Down Debate Over Who Controls Kogi APC

Bello’s Homecoming Shuts Down Debate Over Who Controls Kogi APC

The just-concluded homecoming rally of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, CON, across Kogi Central has finally laid to rest the argument about who owns and controls the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kogi State.

From start to finish, what Kogi witnessed was like never before. A huge, natural and unsponsored crowd came out in their thousands to welcome their leader. Market women left their shops, young people filled the streets, and elders rained prayers and sang songs in support of the White Lion. The reception was not just large, it was emotional. It proved that Yahaya Bello is still deeply loved by his people.

At a time when politicians pay crowds to pretend to be popular, what was seen in Kogi Central was genuine love and loyalty. People came out willingly because they still remember what Bello did for them — security, unity, inclusiveness and empowerment.

No Nigerian politician has attracted such a crowd in recent times. The natural turnout is a strong message ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Firstly, as the undisputed overall leader of the APC in Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello will deliver the state 100 percent for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. With Bello in charge of the structure, the APC in Kogi is already ahead with a comfortable margin.

Secondly, his senatorial contest in Kogi Central will be an easy win. The people of Central have made it loud and clear — they want their leader in the Red Chamber to continue his good work on a larger platform.

Critics may keep talking, but the crowd has spoken louder. The structure, the spirit and the soul of the APC in Kogi State belong to Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
