2023 Election: APC Inaugurates Edo South Senatorial Campaign Council

The All Progressive Congress, APC, said is set to take back Edo State from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP which have failed to improve the life of Edo people.

This was part of the many positions maintained by the chairman, APC, Edo state, Col. David Imuse (rtd), at the inauguration of Edo South Campaign council held in Benin city.

 

Addressing the members of the inaugurated campaign council, the chairman APC, Edo state, Col. David Imuse (rtd), said Edo people are fed up of the misrule of the PDP government in the state, thus calling on all members of the campaign council to work assiduously for the victory of the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, the Senatorial candidate, Valentine Asuen and others.

He stated that the constitution of the council led by Dr. Wilson Ogieva, was directed towards the victory of all our candidates in the forthcoming elections in the state.

“”It is a must win, because 2023 is the gateway to 2024. We must win these elections; unless,, APC may be confine to the bedroom of history.
“We want the oppositions; PDP, Labour Party and 15 other parties; they are the one to go to oblivion, because we had to win,” he said.
Imuse called on the party members to jettison personal differences, sentiment and interpretation and do the right on behalf of the party. Asuen said the campaign would be carried out with right minds and smart policies and ideas anchored on a very intellectual engagement at the National Assembly.

While addressing the Edo South Campaign council, the senatorial candidate of the party, Hon Valentine Asuen (DVD) thanked party members and supporters for the confidence repossed in him, so far.

The senatorial candidate said this is the time to liberate Edo people from the shackles of bad governance and inhuman policies.

Hon Asuen assured the people of adequate representation when elected as the senator representing Edo south Senatorial district.

He lauded the youth in the area for their resilience, support and massive love showed him before, during and after the primaries that produced him.

“This is our project, let us do it together even as we embark on the campaign properly.
“You will all agree with me that as metropolitan as Edo South Senatorial District is, our reality, however, leaves much to be desire.

“The potentials of the human and natural resources in all the local government areas of Edo South need to be maximised and the time to maximise them is now .

“Today, we stand on the threshold of political rebirth. We cannot afford to continue doing things in the same way and expect different results. The senatorial hopeful promised to bring his intellectual and business experience in the discharge of his duty. “ he concluded.
