The All Progressive Congress in Yagba West LGA has adopted Hon. Sunday Karimi as sole aspirant for the 2023 Senate, described him as having all it takes to deliver Kogi West.
Hon. Sunday Karimi met with the Executives State to discuss his intention to represent the people of Kogi West at the Red Chamber come 2023.
The Executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Wards of Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State pledged their unalloyed support to the aspiration of Hon. Sunday Steve Karimi to represent Kogi West Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Abuja.
The Executives who made the pledge while receiving the aspirant at the APC Party Secretariat in the Area, took turns to speak about the personality of Hon. Karimi, insisting that he represent Yagba interest and should be supported.
Yagba West LGA APC Chairman appreciated Hon. Karimi for his hospitality, simplicity and for being accessible by all and sundry, described his representation in the House of Representatives as beneficial to the area.
He noted that Hon. Karimi has been friendly in his dealings, called on him to sustain his good gesture towards others, assuring that he will win convincingly in the forthcoming Senate election.
Hon. Karimi said with togetherness and commitment to the course, the APC in Kogi West will achieve greater things, pointing out that he will continue to carry those at the grassroots along in the discharge of his duties.
“Let us work together, I will carry everyone along in the scheme of things
“I have always been very supportive of every activities of our great Party in Kogi Local Government Area and I will continue to do that through various means
“Representation in the National Assembly (Red Chamber) is not a child’s play, it comes with a great task and we are ready to deliver the needed results when the time comes
“Let’s get it right, I present myself, I want to serve you, I have garnered experiences and I will bring such to bear in the discharge of my duties
The Aspirant commended Governor Bello for keeping to his promises, describing him as a man who is committed to securing the lives of Nigerians when given the opportunity in 2023.
“What Governor Yahaya Bello promised me in 2019, is what he is doing today, Governor Bello is a man of his word”
The Executive Chairman Yagba West LGA, Hon. Pius Kolawole and Engr Oluseyi Akeweje amongst others including the Council Secretary attended the meeting.
