The prestigious National excellence award in public service [Neaps] award bestowed on Governor Yahaya Bello for distinguished security delivery management by President Mohammed Buhari has been described as an evidence of competence and performance.
The State Auditor General ,Alh.Yakubu Okala who made the disclosure while reacting to the Federal government’s maiden edition ‘NEAPS’ award congratulated his principal, mentor and the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and citizens on the receipt of the ‘Distinguished Award for Security Management of National Excellence in Public service ‘NEAPS’.
The award was organized by The Best Strategic TBS media in collaboration with the Office of the secretary to the Government of the Federation.
Okala maintained that the award is not only meritorious and well deserved but an expression of validity of the gargantuan achievements of His Excellency in the state via-via the adequate safety of lives and property despite being surrounded by ten states and the Federal capital territory.
He asserted that through focused leadership and sincerity of purpose the governor has been able to put the state and its citizens a place of discomfort for hoodlums and banditry paving ways for qenuine commercial businesses to thrives .
The Kogi state Auditor General while congratulating the Governor Bello on the national award stressed that the distinguished award for security management is essential and reinforcement of the many awards his excellency has received an over the years as the most security conscious leader in the country
”Due to the importance his administration’s attaches in securing lives and property and the state and her citizens,there is abundance joy under GYB as the state is now the haven of sustainable investments , Peaceful co-existence of inhabitants and a state of pride due to the tranquility that makes development to thrives in all ramifications”.Okala reiterated.
Okala further reiterated that the famous award bestowed on Governor Bello by NEAPS is a testimony of verifiable giant-strides and watershed achievements observed in the state and with substantial impact on the lives of the people and serve as litmus test to him to ‘Do More for the state in the angles of securing lives and property and delivering of dividends of ‘Good Governance’ to the citizens.
”Governor Bello is a signpost of a political Leader who administration’s places priceless value on the lives and livelihood of every citizen ,hence he faced the menace of insecurity that engulfed the state before he took over the mantle of leadership with all the commitment it deserved -stemming the tide by mobilising the combined forces of resources, courage, technologies and intelligence to accomplished this feat”.
Okala join others millions well wishers to congratulate the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on this commendable feat and remarkable achievements which he noted has further raised the bar of good governance in Kogi state.
