Yuletide: Kogi Police Promises To Support Tricycle Owners Halt Accidents.


 

The State Police command has promised to support members of Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria in a bid to halt avoidable accidents during this ember Months.

The State Police Traffic oficier,ASP Salama Kitgak gave the assurance during the inuaguration of the Lokoja local Government area new executives of the Association in Lokoja.

He explained that the safety of lives and the properties of the citizens should be the collective responsibility all , hence the reason for the partnership with the road users to avert road accidents during this Yuletide festival .

ASP Salama urged operators of tricycle machine to abide by the rules and regulations of driving and road uses to prevent sending their passagers to their untimely death.
In his acceptance statement, the Chairman of the association,Mallam Sokodabo Adamu assured that he will work assiduously with his team to ensure that there is safety on the road .

He admonished his members to obey driving codes to avoid being punished by Government’s agencies responsible for roads safety.

In a remark,the State Chairman of the Association, Alhaji Abdulraman Idris expressed satisfaction with the peacefully conduct of the election which ushered in the new officers maintaining that kogi State chapter of the Association was the first in the country to hold its election as directed by the national secretariat of the Union.

Similarly,the Federal road safety commission gave an assurance of the readiness of the command to partner necessarily with all the road users to ensure the safety of lives of innocent passegers and avert the preventable loss of properties of the citizens.
