Niger Delta Reporter Newspaper (NDRN) has been commended on its decision to host the maiden edition of Niger Delta Carnival in Bayelsa State.
The first Military Administrator of old River State, HRM Alfred Diete made the commendation when the Niger Delta Reporter Newspaper crew was on inspection tour to some venues for the event in the State.
HRM Diete-Spiff said that the carnival will in no small measure boost the Internally Generated Revenue(IGR) of the State.
He noted that the carnival would serve as an avenue to channel energies of the youths in the State into gainful and positive enterprise and called on the organisers to engage them during the programme.
Similarly, the Technical Assistant to the Governor on Chieftain Affairs, Chief Douyi Douglas -Naingba has also applauded NDRN for identifying Bayelsa as a State endowed with diversified
cultural and tourism heritage and called on stakeholders to aid to showcase the potentials to the business world during the carnival.
