The Nigerian Post Newspaper has sent a message of felicitations to Asiwaju Asiru Idris, Kogi State Commissioner For Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday anniversary.
In a statement issued in Lokoja, Abu Michael, Publisher , Editor in Chief, The Nigerian Post described the Finance Commissioner as a good accountant who possesses key qualities such as strong attention to details, ethical integrity, analytical skills, and proficiency in financial regulations.
The statement also adds that Asiru is one financial Wizkid who exhibits excellent communication, adaptability, has inate financial problem-solving ability, lauded his immeasurable contributions to shaping the financial books of the State to meet acceptable standards since his coming on board.
Mr. Abu described the Kogi Finance Commissioner as a thorough breed professional who knows his onion, is vibrant, self-conscious, has a positive attitude and outlook, is independent thinking, progressive, ethical, fair and has impeccable integrity.
While noting that he is value driven, a good communicator, sets and retains high standards of accounting and excellence, honest in his dealings, has been able to maintain the name of the profession at all times.
The Editor in Chief lauded the immeasurable contributions of the Finance Commissioner to the administration of former Gov. Yahaya Bello and Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo in ensuring that the financial transactions of the State meets sets financial standards, leading to the high financial integrity ratings of the State by Nationally, International and acclaimed financial institutions.
He urge the Commissioner to sustain the feat, through his dogged commitment, pointing out that posterity has opened and is writing a book of records for him.
