Hon. Comrade, Maryam Usman Yahaya, Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Kogi State on Livelihood Mobilization from Ogori in Oshobane Ward, have lauded the Judiciary for following due process and for admitting former Gov Yahaya Bello to bail.
The SSA and others SSAs from Ogori Community, made the disclosure in a message of congratulations sent to the former Governor, lauded Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo for his support and unflinching loyalty to the former Governor.
In the congratulatory message signed by Comr. Maryam Usman Yahaya, Senior Special Assistant on Livelihood Mobilization, she lauded the administration of former Gov Bello for building a modern Kogi State, expressed confidence in his victory at the end of the judicial process.
She equally noted that the court is a court of justice and not persecution, commended the people of the State for their support and prayers during the judicial process to admit the former Governor to bail.
The SSA particularly praised the former Governor for seeking to test his fundamental human rights, pointed out that it was also heart warming that the former Governor willingly presented himself, a patriotism that showed that he is a respecter of the law.
The statement said it looks forward to justice and fair hearing for the former Governor, expressed optimism that the allegations will at the end of the day fall flat on it face like packs of cards for lacking in merit.
