Live From Nigeria National Merit Award, Merit House, Maitama Abuja at the 2021 People’s Security Monitor Annual Conference and Recognition Awards, an A-list annual conference to brainstorm, cross fertilize ideas, and discuss burning national issues with focus on finding solutions to the numerous challenges confronting a developing nation like ours, is on at at the Merit House.
The conference and awards event, a celebration of *“Who is Who”* in Nigeria’s security circle, and other areas of endeavours, is featuring the *_crème-de-la-crème_* of the society and a razzmatazz of public Servants, Governors, Captains of Industry, Private Sector and high network individuals that have carved a niche for themselves in their chosen fields.
The event which is chaired by Venerable former Inspector General of Police, *Sir Mike Mbama Okiro* with the theme *“Nigeria’s Security, Our Collective Responsibility.”*

The former *First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan,* The National Security Adviser, *Maj. Gen Babagana Monguno,* The Attorney General of the Federation *Abubakar Mallami,* and *Governor Yahaya Bello* of Kogi State as _The People’s Choice Award for the Best Governor of the Year on Grassroots Mobilization and Youth Development;_
The cliq of *Governor Aminu Tambuwal* of Sokoto, *Seyi Makinde,* the Governor of Oyo State, *Governor Samuel Ortom* of Benue State, Former Governor of Borno State and now serving *Senator Kashim Shettima,* were also recognized and Deputy Governor of Kogi State, *Chief Edward David Onoja* _bags The Most Outstanding and Loyal Deputy Governor of the Year for Good Governance in Nigeria;_
The Governor of Nasarawa State, *Engr. Abdullahi Sule,* *Honourable Sadiya Umar Farouk* of Humanitarian Affairs, *Mr. Bitrus Bako Nabasu* of the Ministry of Petroleum, *ACP Nurudeen Sabo,* *Hajiya Hadiza Bala* of Nigeria Ports Authority, were not exempted and our own *Hon. Prince Mustapha Aliyu Aka’aba, _the executive Chairman of Ajaokuta LG,_ bags the Security Ambassador of Nigeria Award.*
