The Kogi State All Progressives Congress Caretaker Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello says the decision to dissolve all the Executives of the Party at all levels is also binding on the State.
Alh. Abdullahi Bello in a chat with Newsmen made the disclosure, gave clarifications on the recent NEC decision that dissolved all organs of the party across the country, said the decision of the National Executive Committee of the Party which also is binding on the State is aimed at repositioning the Party.
He said by the NEC decision all State, local government and Ward executives in Kogi have dissolved into a caretaker committee pending a Congress scheduled for 2021.
Alhaji Abdullahi Bello said the caretaker Committees would last till June 2021 when the party would conduct its Congress, said there is no cause for worry.
He assured that the decision by the NEC was taken in the interest of the Party, maintained that it would not affect the structure and strength of the party in the state.
The Caretaker State Chairman thanked members of the party, urged them to extend maximum cooperation to all the caretaker organs of the party at all levels of the State.
