Director-General of the organisation, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas who led other top hierarchy of the ACF to Borno State stated that the visit at the instance of the Grand Patron became necessary to share in the pains of families of the fallen compatriots and the Zabarmari community.

His word: “The Waziri Adamawa is currently out of town but he has asked us to convey most deeply, his sympathy, over the needless and inhuman killings of our fellow citizens whose lives were terminated in their bid to add value to their families and nation’s economy.

“We express the solidarity of His Excellency, the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar with the Zabarmari and Borno State Government over the wicked attacks on this peace-loving and enterprising community which led to many lives being cut short at their prime. We ask God to grant the souls of our dear departed eternal rest and give succour to the bereaved families and community to bear the painful losses.

Abbas, described the losses as a momentum, not only to Borno state or Nigeria but a great loss to humanity at large.

“The lives of our citizens should be worth much more than this. The rejig of the nation’s security architecture is long overdue. May their souls rest in peace and may their families be comforted,” the Waziri Adamawa had urged.
