
As Christians in Kogi State joined in the celebration of the Christmas in commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Executive Secretary, Kogi State Office For Disability Affairs, Barr Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has enjoined them to imbibe the spirit and teachings of the season.

He said they should do so by showing love and affection as well as extending hands of fellowship and goodwill to all the people at all times.
While pointing out that all the beautiful policies that would make them self sustaining would come to the fore in the coming year, says the community is Optimistic that 2023 is loaded with benefits for them
While pointing out that 2023 is loaded with lots of benefits for PWDS, says the community will witness unstoppable progress and under the leadership of Gov. Yahaya Bello and his watch and will experience the light they hare been craving for in the coming year.
Barr. Dare stated this in his Christmas goodwill message to the People With Disabilities and Christian community in the State as a whole, adding that the birth of Jesus Christ symbolizes humility, love and peace.
” It is in this regard that Jesus Christ personifies selflessness, good neighborliness, charity and reconciliation among humanity. This season is therefore a period for sober reflection and reaffirmation of moral values as exemplified by Jesus Christ, Barr. Dare said.
While thanking God for making Kogites witness yet another Christmas celebration, Barr. Dare particularly congratulated Gov. Yahaya Bello, praised the Governor for his pro people projects and a lover of persons with disabilities.
Barr. Dare used the opportunity to call on Kogites to show love to the Disability Community in this season of Christmas celebration, reminding them to remember the poor among them.
He called on all MDA to create inclusion for PWDs as the Agency would begin full implementation of the laws for disabilities, congratulated Gov. Bello, all members of the cabinet and members of the Community a merry Christmas.
