Mr. Richard Osaseyi, General Manager, Kogi State Postal Signage and Advertisement Agency, has urged Christian faithful in the State to exhibit the spirit of peace, love and forgiveness all through the Christmas celebration and beyond.
Mr. Osaseyi in his Christmas message issued to Newsmen, noted that these were the values that Jesus Christ preached and exhibited all through His sojourn on earth.
According to him, ” As we mark the Christmas, all Christians must remember the reason for the season as well as the person, whose birth we are celebrating, who is Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ went about preaching peace, love and need for us to forgive those who trespassed against us. If this is not evident in our lives, as we mark the Christmas and thereafter, then, we have only embarked on a jamboree.
He therefore enjoined Christians to pledge to continue to live in peace, renew their love for Kogi State, Nigeria as well as for one another.
The General Manager used the medium to congratulate Kogites for witnessing yet another Christmas in good health and peace of the State, praised the people oriented policies of Gov. Yahaya Bello that has made the State an envy amongst committee of states.
Mr. Osaseyi expressed optimism that the State is a work in progress, praised the developmental strides of Gov. Bello, assured that the coming years would witness more democracy dividends amidst peace and prosperity for all Kogites.
