CLARIFICATION ON THE
PURPORTED INCREASE IN SCHOOL FEES AT PRINCE ABUBAKAR AUDU UNIVERSITY, ANYIGBA

The attention of Management of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, has been drawn to reports circulating in the public space, particularly on social media, alleging an increase in school fees payable by students of the University.
Management wishes to clarify that the University has not increased school fees; rather, it has adopted a uniform fee structure for the three state-owned universities in Kogi State, in line with the approval of the State Government.
Members of the public who may have doubts about the fees are encouraged to verify by comparing the approved fees for corresponding departments and programmes in the other two state-owned universities.
Management also appeals to students, parents, guardians and other stakeholders to exercise caution and verify information from credible and official sources before sharing it on social media.
The University remains committed to responsible communication and the promotion of an informed university community.
Students and members of the public are therefore advised to rely on official University communication channels for accurate information, please.
