YALI Network Honors Abraham John Onoja at the YALI Network Evening with Young CEO’s Masterclass in Lagos.


 

The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Network, honored Abraham John Onoja during the YALI Network (Lagos Chapter) Young CEO’s Masterclass in Lagos.

Abraham John Onoja was honored on account of his outstanding role, commitment, and consistency over the years in building and shaping young minds and his leadership prowess.

Abraham John Onoja thanked the organizers and promised to do more in building bridges and help in shaping the next generations of leaders on who’s shoulders the country would rely on.

Guest speakers at the event buttressed the theme: Resilience and Reinvention in Turbulent Times includes Mr. Victor Onyenkpa, Chief Operating Officer, KPMG Nigeria, Prof. Pat. Utomi, Professor of political economy and management expert and founder, Centre for Value in Leadership, Adepeju Jaiyeoba, Former President, Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Nigeria (MWFAN).

The young African Leaders’ initiative (YALI) was launched by the former president of the United States of America, Barack Obama as a signatory effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders. In Nigeria, YALI network hubs are galvanizing future emerging leaders who are passionate about shaping the future of business and entrepreneurship, civic leadership, and public management in Nigeria. This network has successfully connected Young change makers across Lagos, Nigeria and Africa at large under the auspices of the United States of America Consulate.

In order to continue to inspire the creativity of young African Leaders, the President, YALI Network Lagos state, Amb. Musa Olayinka Mbe birthed the YALI Lagos Evening with Young CEOs masterclass in an attempt to change the narrative and further boost the capacity of young and emerging CEOs in light of current realities around the world.

Ambassador Musa Olayinka, President, YALI Network Lagos state was represented by his Deputy said the day was to build excellence and leading lights in other to weather the storm caused by the pandemic amongst others.

The master class event was attended by Young CEOs in Lagos State.
