Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission has fixed 27th, November, 2021,
for a bye election in Kogi Central
The Commission Under the Chairmanship of Hon. Mamman Nda Eri as a meeting in the Commission’s Headquarter and fixed a tentative date of 27th, November, 2021, for a Ward by election in Lafia Obessa ward in Okene Local Government Area.
The bye election is as a result of the lost of the Ward Councilor, in person of Hon. Sadiq O. Tijani who would through the bye election be replaced.
The Commission Chairman and the sympathizes with the families of the demise Councilor.
