WICE Pays Courtesy Visit, passes Vote of Confidence on Provost COET Mopa

The North Central Zone Executive of Women in Colleges of Education in Nigeria (WICE), comprising members from Federal and State Colleges of Education in North Central Nigeria, paid a courtesy visit to Dr. M.K. Ibrahim, Provost of Kogi State College of Education Technical (COET) Mopa, while attending their Zonal Executive meeting at the College.
The North Central Coordinator of WICE, Dr. Caroline N. Igbo-Udi, noted that Dr. Ibrahim’s sterling performance in Ankpa earned him an unprecedented term in COET Mopa, adding that the Provost’s track record is overwhelming and he stands out as one of the best in North Central Nigeria.
Responding to their commendation, Dr. M.K. Ibrahim expressed his profound gratitude to the WICE Executive for the courtesy visit. He expressed confidence in the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration, stating that under his leadership, the College would undergo significant transformation within the shortest period possible. He noted that the College Management is working to ensure that by 2026, stakeholders wouldn’t recognize the College due to the expected rapid growth and development.
Dr. Ibrahim, while promising to work closely with WICE, added that in his previous institution, women were given significant positions and he would replicate the same approach in Mopa.
The highlight of the visit was a unanimous vote of confidence passed on Dr. M.K. Ibrahim, believing in his ability to transform COET Mopa owing to his impressive track record.
