Why Yagba East Deserves Kogi West Senatorial District Seat – Group

The Yagba Renaissance Group has said it is only logical and fair to allow Yagba East LGA take the Kogi West Senatorial seat in 2023.

The Group in a statement said going to twenty four years since the current nascent democracy in the 4th republic, Yagba East remains the only Local Government Area in Kogi West that has not tested the Senatorial seat out of the seven LGAs that made up the Senatorial District.

The group explained that if democracy is about equity, justice and fairness, said available statistics point to the fact that democracy has been defeated in Kogi West if reparation is not done.
