Lokoja Local Government All Progressives Congress (APC) has adopted the House of Representatives aspirant under its platform, Hon Suleiman Danladi Aguye in next year’s polls.
Members of the party’s executive on Monday proclaimed an occasion organized for the aspirant to express his interest to stakeholders to contest the position.
Raising a motion for the adoption of the APC Treasurer in the Local Government, Hon Rajab Yabagi had said it became necessary given the role Hon Suleiman Aguye plays as the Chairman of the party’s stakeholders forum and his sterling leadership qualities.
He stressed that there was no need for the gathering to belabor itself by first hearing from the aspirant as was the tradition with those who had visited them regarding elective positions, but that as their own, there was the need to expressly adopt is candidature to demonstrate to all that they were solidly behind him.
His motion was seconded by the APC Chairman in Ward ‘C,’ Mallam Musa Suleiman who said there was not much to say as Hon Aguye has shown the capacity and has been humble in his dealings with party men and women.

Speaking earlier, the Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon Muhammed Dan’Asabe Muhammed lauded party loyalists for the manner they came out in their numbers to declare support for the aspirant.
He noted that it showed the commitment they have for the party and the person of Hon Aguye and enjoin them to sustain the tempo by ensuring they get others to back the aspirant for the success of APC in next year’s election.
Hon Dan’Asabe thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for his commitment to the cause of the party and desire to give the party a credible candidate that would ease the job of vote canvassing in the election proper, saying Hon Aguye fits the bill.
