…..Says the Girl Child is a Blessing the Community.
As Prominent and well-meaning Nigerians Continue to send their heartfelt felicitations to the former Governor of Sokoto State, His Excellency,Dr Dahaltu Attahiru Bafarawa,on the weeding fatiya, between his daughter Asma’u and Mohammed Aminu Bande, a family friend who identity herself as Hajiya Aisha Na’allah has also sent her felicitations.
Speaking to Newsmen shortly after the wedding fatiha,which took place at the Muhammed Machido mosque, Sokoto,friday August 26, 2022,Hajiya Aisha expressed delight over the union, she prayed for mutual trust and understanding amongst themselves, even as she urged them to nuture their marriage with the fear of God.
She further noted that,she was not surprised by the large turnout of people at the ceremony, pointing out that the former Governor over the years has built good relationship with people across the Country irrespective of tribe and religious consideration., also stressing that the (Garkuwan Sokoto) positive impacts in the lives of many people speaks volume of his humanitarian gestures.
Hajiya Aisha who eulogiesed Asma’u the bride for her humility, discipline and sense of responsibility,also expressed optimism in her ability to make a good and responsible wife considering her family background,she stressed.
Reacting to question from journalists about her perception of the Girl’s child,Hajiya Aisha, maintained that, the Girl child is a blessing to the family, the community and the world at large and deserves better upbringing, education and otherwise, urging parents to give the best to the Girl Child.
The resident of the former Governor was thronged by family friends, relatives and politicians from within and outside the State.
