The Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu, has announced the dissolution of his cabinet at the council secretariat following the successful completion of his tenure.
In a press statement signed by the Chairman, Comrade Adamu expressed his profound appreciation to all members of the outgoing cabinet for their dedication, loyalty, cooperation and contributions to the growth and development of the Local Government while wishing them the best in their future endeavors.
“NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT CABINET
Date: 22ND OCTOBER, 2026
Following the expiration of the tenure of the present administration, I hereby announce the dissolution of the Local Government Cabinet with immediate effect.
Consequently, all appointments including Secretary, Supervisory Councillors, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants and other political appointees are hereby dissolved with effect, subject to the applicable laws and terms of appointment.
I wish to express my profound appreciation to all members of the outgoing cabinet for their dedication, loyalty, cooperation and contributions to the growth and development of the Local Government during their period of service.
Your support and commitment to the implementation of government policies, programmes and developmental initiatives are acknowledged and appreciated.
Please accept my sincere appreciation and best wishes in your future endeavours.
