The Chairman, Board, Management and Staff of the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency (KGCSDA), heartily felicitate with His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the executive Governor of Kogi State, His Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Mathew Kolawole and Members of the Kogi State House of Assembly, the Secretary to the State Government, Dr (Mrs) Ayoade Folasade Arike, the Chief of Staff to His Excellency, Pharm. Jamiu Asuku , Members of the State Executive council, Special Advisers, Chairmen and members of statutory Boards, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants and indeed, the good people of Kogi State, on the thirty first anniversary of the creation of Kogi State.
It is indeed, thirty-one years since Kogi State was created and the Kogi State Community and social Development Agency is proud to be associated with the administration of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello and his achievements.
The state government, under His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello has continually made it possible for the Agency to reach- out to several rural and remote communities in the state.
Through your support the agency has been able to provide cost effective and all-inclusive assets, for improvement in access to quality and functional education, health care services, portable water, electricity, meaningful engagement of the youths and the vulnerable groups, provision of functional Skills Training Centres, and promoting mobility within the rural and remote landscape, among others.
To set the record straight, the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency has supported 212 communities and 14 vulnerable groups with 500 micro-projects in the following sectors across the state: Education, Water, health, social -economy, transport, rural electricity, environment and gender and vulnerable.
The Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, is at the fore-front and a delivery platform of the social services infrastructure of the Nigeria Covid-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus programme (NG-CARES) in Kogi State, which the Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration has fully subscribed to with all the necessary support.
The Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency will continue to be one of your vehicles for the realisation of the ideals of the “New Direction Development Agenda” which has positively impacted rural and remote communities, where most of our people resides.
They would be empowered and the poor and vulnerable people would have increased and sustainable access to improved social and natural resource infrastructure.
As we celebrate the thirty-one years of Kogi State, we pray the Almighty God will grant your Excellency, long life, good health, wisdom and required resources to take Kogi State to that enviable height of our collective dreams.
